This summer we will be contributing to a K-12 teacher training workshop focused on integrating perspectives from art and science in the classroom. The workshop will take place in Laramie June 21-23, 2017, and registration is now open!
This should be loads of fun, and it certainly has been a blast to have a chance to interact with a diversity of artists, scientists, and educators in planning it. We are very excited about the activities and content that we have planned.
This workshop is part of a larger outreach and education initiative associated with our current NSF grant to develop NGSS content in biodiversity and evolution linked to our research on these topics. We are working with the Biodiversity Institute in this effort, and this workshop is the result of collaboration with the fabulous University of Wyoming Art Museum.
