Tuungane work in the news

The University of Wyoming communications office wrote a featured story on our sardine genetics work associated with The Nature Conservancy’s Tuungane project. Read the story here!

Note that although that photo of the boat full of sardines is attributed to me (Katie), it was actually the one and only Ellen Hamann who took an awesome GoPro video of that scene. Thanks for capturing that, Ellen!

The story also shows off the newly fine-tuned pipetting skills of the Wagner Lab’s newest member, Brittany Nordberg, a UW undergrad and Wyoming Research Scholar working in the lab.
